The Gold Program · Full Training

You've been dancing for years.
So why aren't you moving forward?

A personalized program, with follow-up from start to finish.

It's not that you need more
hours of class

You learn a routine in class. You repeat it. You forget it. And the one time you have to improvise on the social floor, with a partner you've never met, you freeze. If that sounds like you, keep reading.

You can spend three years going to class every week and still not understand why a turn works one day and falls apart the next. It isn't a lack of commitment. It's that most classes teach this week's routine, not the foundation that makes any routine work.

Nobody has ever explained what your body does when you take a step, where a turn really comes from, or why your hips move that way and not another. Without that, every new class starts from zero: you memorize a sequence, repeat it until the next social, and forget it.

The problem isn't you. It's that until now nobody has taught you to understand your own body — only to copy theirs.

This isn't
one more course

You've bought online training before: a video, a play button, and you alone in front of the screen. Gold doesn't work like that.

We sit down together and decide your path.

In private sessions with me, just the two of us, we put in writing where you're starting from, where you want to get to, and in what order we'll work on it. And when something isn't working, we change it right there: you're not following a plan designed for everyone, you're following yours.

You send me your video, I follow your progress and you have a direct line to me.

You record the exercise you're working on, send it to me, and I tell you exactly what's working and what you need to change — in your wrist, your turn or your hip. It's not generic feedback: it's your body, seen by me. And when you get stuck on something, you don't wait for the next class to ask: you message me in the chat, and I answer you myself, not an assistant or a bot.

All the academy's online training, included.

You get access to all the Basic and Standard content. But that's the material: what really makes the difference is a program designed for you and someone following your progress closely.

You're part of a group that isn't everybody's group.

You share the process with other students at your same stage, not in a massive chat of thousands where your question disappears.

What Gold includes

  • Access to all Basic + Standard content
  • Personalized work plan, daily support, review of your videos with feedback
  • Private sessions with me to decide your path
  • For those who want to progress with quality and don't want to do it alone

Whatever level
you come in with

It's the question I get asked most, and the answer is always the same: the process adapts to you. There's no minimum level to join. We start from wherever you are and adjust the content and the work so you can progress from there.

If you're just starting

You build a solid foundation from day one, instead of carrying bad habits for years that cost twice as much to undo later.

If you've been dancing a while

You sharpen the foundation you already have and put a name to what currently just happens on its own. You gain structure and control over things that work some days and not others.

If you already dance well

You gain method and a real awareness of what you're doing: you understand the small details and can apply them yourself, without relying on someone to point them out every time.

So when we talk, I won't ask about your level to decide whether you can join. I'll ask so I know where we start.

This starts with a diagnosis,
not with an automatic yes

It's not a generic call. It's where I really look at your case.

  • We're not looking for just anyone, but for people who are truly committed to their process.
  • In the interview we get to know your technique, your goals, what's holding you back and how much time you can put in.
  • With that information we make a first diagnosis and design the starting point of your plan.
  • From there, the plan evolves with you and is adjusted week by week according to your progress.

It's not about setting requirements for the sake of it. It's about making sure the program fits you and what you want to achieve.

Frequently
asked questions

"I'm not good enough for this"

No. GOLD adapts to the level you arrive with and, during the call, we look at where you are, what you want to achieve and what you need to progress.

The question isn't whether you have enough level, but whether this is your moment to commit to a close, supported process and progress with more quality.

If I see that GOLD is right for you, I'll explain how we can work together. And if I think you need something else right now, I'll tell you that too and point you to the option that makes most sense for you.

"I don't have time for a program like this"

It isn't a class timetable you have to show up for at a fixed hour: you progress and send your videos when you can practice them properly, not when the schedule says. We'll talk about your real pace on the call, before you decide anything.

"I don't have a dance partner"

You don't need one. Here we work on individual technique, musicality and style — what you carry in your own body, not what someone else does with you. Many of the students who progress most work on their own.

"What if this doesn't work out for me?"

That's exactly why there's no buy button on this page: we talk first. On that call we tell you honestly whether this is right for you, and the exact terms — including any guarantee — are laid out in writing before you decide anything. We don't want you buying blind, so we don't let you.

What happens on the call?

It's a conversation with me or my team, no strings attached: we talk about your level, what you've already tried and what you're looking for, and I'll tell you honestly whether Gold is for you right now or whether something else suits you better.

Do I need to have taken a course with the academy first?

It isn't required. If you've already taken a course it helps, because you arrive with work behind you — but we'll work through all of it the same way, with feedback and supervision, whether you have or not. And it doesn't change the call: we'll talk either way.

Is it taught in Spanish and English?

Yes, the material is available in both languages.

How much does it cost?

Gold is tailored case by case, so the exact price and terms I'll go through with you on the call, along with everything else you need to know before deciding.

How long does access last?

I'll go through that on the call too, along with the rest of the terms.

Hi Irene! Maybe my opinion doesn't count for much since I'm one of the last to arrive, but I wanted to share a comment with you. Honestly, I really enjoy the content you share. I say this with total respect: you have become my inspiration, not only because of how natural you are, but because of what a great dancer and instructor you are. Get well soon! Thank you for everything we've experienced these past few days—such a beautiful group of people. I'm so grateful for the camaraderie, the hugs, the care, and the passion that could be felt throughout the entire process. A special thanks to the girls for being there for me when my shoes broke, and to everyone for a journey filled with smiles and words of encouragement. Maestra, if I admired your work before, I now admire your humility and your soul. It was an honor to be under your direction and to learn from you. Thank you for teaching us not just steps, but dance and the passion behind it. (Translated from Spanish)

To be honest, Irene, since I've been with you, I see the '1x2' in a completely different way. My basic step and posture have changed, just with your corrections on arms, hips, and knees. It transformed me. The guys at my academy noticed, but it was the girls mostly who were asking me about it. I told them I was doing Lady Style with you. I've never had arm technique explained to me so well before. It was worth traveling 2500 km from Calama to Puerto Varas just to see you. I love your technique. You are everything that is right in the world of dance for someone who is just starting out. I'm a bit older, and with what I've studied with you, I feel like I've finally made progress in my lady styling. (Translated from Spanish)

Hello, hello! Good afternoon. Now that the show is over and the congress has come to an end, I want to applaud everyone present here. I truly enjoyed this short process; the good vibes were always there with everyone, and I had a great time. It was a pleasure for me to dance with and meet so many masters from the south. Thank you to Maestro Irene for her excellent guidance and for being such a special human being—you are an angel on earth. We love you even more now. A big hug to everyone. To the people of this beautiful south, I hope we cross paths again. It was a pleasure. Oh, and of course, last but not least, thank you to boss Kari for creating these gatherings. See you in 2026, no matter what! (Translated from Spanish)

Since I started with IP Academy, my way of dancing has completely changed. Irene's methodology is unique: every class has a clear purpose and you notice how you progress week by week. I have not found anything like it on any other platform. (Translated from Spanish)

Irene has helped me grow so much as a dancer since I started learning from her. She introduced me to basic body movement, pachanga, caleño, and so much more, all in a clear and easy to understand way. Her feedback is precise thanks to her deep knowledge of salsa and her ability to spot and understand the smallest movements. It's rare to find a teacher as qualified, passionate, and skilled as Irene, and I can't recommend learning from her enough.

After meeting you in person, even though it was only for a few days, what I want to highlight most was your humility and empathy, your sense of camaraderie, and obviously, your teachings. You gave me advice that no one else had ever given me in all my years of study—details that I believe truly make a difference. In the workshop, I found it incredible how, by focusing on the basics, you managed to make everyone learn something new, both in the execution and in how to visualize and work through the movements. A fantastic Pachanga workshop! One of its strengths was that Irene broke the choreography down into small, manageable steps, which makes learning far easier than it looks. I understood the essence and the style of Pachanga, not just the moves — like the little Forrest Gump step haha 😆 Really enjoyable, and that was taking the class online. (Translated from Spanish)

I had the great fortune of doing personalized training with Irene Palomares, an exceptional artist and a dancer I deeply admire. I travelled to Madrid specifically to train with her, drawn both by her outstanding artistic level and by her gift for teaching. Over eight intensive days and more than fifteen hours of one-to-one work, Irene guided me through perfectly structured training, tailored to my needs and my goals. Her teaching is precise, profound and deeply human. She was always attentive, available and committed to my growth as a dancer and as a teacher. Thanks to her guidance, I developed greater technical precision and a deeper understanding of lady style. I came away from this experience with valuable tools and solid material to pass on to my own students. I wholeheartedly recommend Irene Palomares as one of the finest teachers and dancers I have ever had the chance to meet. (Translated from Spanish)
