Whatever's off in your dancing, fixed in one class

One-off 1:1 sessions made to measure, in person in Madrid or online: for when you want coaching, a choreography or answers to specific questions.

What you can work on in a private class with Irene

One hour, all yours

A full hour with nobody else in the room, or on the screen. Irene's full attention, on your dancing alone.

Feedback on your body

Irene watches how you dance, not theory, and tells you what to change, right there, in your own body.

Progress at your speed

In a group class, corrections aim at the average. Here there's no average, just you, moving at your own pace.

Exactly what you need

You leave with the specific feedback for your case, not a general syllabus built for the whole room.

In person or online

In Madrid or by video call, whichever suits you. The correction is exactly the same either way.

Choreography coaching

Bring a choreography, or build one with Irene from scratch: it gets set, corrected step by step, and comes out ready for a wedding, a show or a competition.

When does it make sense to book a private class?

When it's a yes

  • Do you already have the basics?Yes — whether it came from streaming, an online course or the Monday classes in Madrid: what’s left is polishing it, and that only happens with someone watching how you do it.
  • Are you bringing a choreography?Yes: it gets built, corrected step by step, and checked until it sits right in your body.
  • Do you know what you want to fix?"This turn just won't click" is exactly what an hour with me is for.
  • How often do you want to work? One class a week, at your own pace, without tying yourself to any program's schedule. That's exactly the gap private classes fill.
  • Are you here to practice, or to be corrected? To be corrected: I watch how you move and tell you what to change, in your body, right there.

When one of my programs suits you better

  • Do you already have the basics? Not yet: Standard gives it to you step by step, as many times as you need, with a year of access. That same ground in private classes is 10–15 separate hours.
  • Are you bringing a choreography? You don't have one yet: in Standard you learn them from end to end, and then you bring them to me to correct.
  • Do you know what you want to fix? It's more of a "let's see what's wrong with me": message me and I'll tell you which one to start with. It costs less, and you get far more out of the private class when you do book it.
  • How often do you want to work?Once a month, or whenever you feel like it: Standard, which is there all year round. Real continuity, to move fast and at the best price: Gold.
  • Are you here to practice, or to be corrected? To practice: that's what Basic is for, with live classes every week. In university nobody studies in front of the professor.

Irene sets aside a limited number of 1:1 hours each week so every student gets the attention this page promises — book ahead if you want a fixed slot.

Hi Irene! Maybe my opinion doesn't count for much since I'm one of the last to arrive, but I wanted to share a comment with you. Honestly, I really enjoy the content you share. I say this with total respect: you have become my inspiration, not only because of how natural you are, but because of what a great dancer and instructor you are. Get well soon! Thank you for everything we've experienced these past few days—such a beautiful group of people. I'm so grateful for the camaraderie, the hugs, the care, and the passion that could be felt throughout the entire process. A special thanks to the girls for being there for me when my shoes broke, and to everyone for a journey filled with smiles and words of encouragement. Maestra, if I admired your work before, I now admire your humility and your soul. It was an honor to be under your direction and to learn from you. Thank you for teaching us not just steps, but dance and the passion behind it. (Translated from Spanish)

To be honest, Irene, since I've been with you, I see the '1x2' in a completely different way. My basic step and posture have changed, just with your corrections on arms, hips, and knees. It transformed me. The guys at my academy noticed, but it was the girls mostly who were asking me about it. I told them I was doing Lady Style with you. I've never had arm technique explained to me so well before. It was worth traveling 2500 km from Calama to Puerto Varas just to see you. I love your technique. You are everything that is right in the world of dance for someone who is just starting out. I'm a bit older, and with what I've studied with you, I feel like I've finally made progress in my lady styling. (Translated from Spanish)

Hello, hello! Good afternoon. Now that the show is over and the congress has come to an end, I want to applaud everyone present here. I truly enjoyed this short process; the good vibes were always there with everyone, and I had a great time. It was a pleasure for me to dance with and meet so many masters from the south. Thank you to Maestro Irene for her excellent guidance and for being such a special human being—you are an angel on earth. We love you even more now. A big hug to everyone. To the people of this beautiful south, I hope we cross paths again. It was a pleasure. Oh, and of course, last but not least, thank you to boss Kari for creating these gatherings. See you in 2026, no matter what! (Translated from Spanish)

Irene has helped me grow so much as a dancer since I started learning from her. She introduced me to basic body movement, pachanga, caleño, and so much more, all in a clear and easy to understand way. Her feedback is precise thanks to her deep knowledge of salsa and her ability to spot and understand the smallest movements. It's rare to find a teacher as qualified, passionate, and skilled as Irene, and I can't recommend learning from her enough.

After meeting you in person, even though it was only for a few days, what I want to highlight most was your humility and empathy, your sense of camaraderie, and obviously, your teachings. You gave me advice that no one else had ever given me in all my years of study—details that I believe truly make a difference. In the workshop, I found it incredible how, by focusing on the basics, you managed to make everyone learn something new, both in the execution and in how to visualize and work through the movements. A fantastic Pachanga workshop! One of its strengths was that Irene broke the choreography down into small, manageable steps, which makes learning far easier than it looks. I understood the essence and the style of Pachanga, not just the moves — like the little Forrest Gump step haha 😆 Really enjoyable, and that was taking the class online. (Translated from Spanish)

I had the great fortune of doing personalized training with Irene Palomares, an exceptional artist and a dancer I deeply admire. I travelled to Madrid specifically to train with her, drawn both by her outstanding artistic level and by her gift for teaching. Over eight intensive days and more than fifteen hours of one-to-one work, Irene guided me through perfectly structured training, tailored to my needs and my goals. Her teaching is precise, profound and deeply human. She was always attentive, available and committed to my growth as a dancer and as a teacher. Thanks to her guidance, I developed greater technical precision and a deeper understanding of lady style. I came away from this experience with valuable tools and solid material to pass on to my own students. I wholeheartedly recommend Irene Palomares as one of the finest teachers and dancers I have ever had the chance to meet. (Translated from Spanish)
